The Newton Township Training Division has spent the past ten-plus years delivering professional, comprehensive training to area first responders. As of the fourth quarter of 2023, we have trained over 750 students across 20 counties in central and southeastern Ohio.

What we offer
The Training Division is a State of Ohio chartered training facility. We run initial certification classes — Firefighter I, Firefighter II, EMR, and EMT — and continuing education courses for in-service personnel. Schedules vary by season; reach out directly for the current calendar.
